Killer at Thurston High (Kinkel)

2000, Directed by Michael Kirk for PBS Frontline, 86mins
My music for this film is at times disturbing, at times scary, and at times serene - but always with a scent of darkness. Clarinet and cello cues offset distorted electric guitar cues and ominous low brass orchestral cues. This is a very difficult film to watch.

Killer at Thurston High depicts the troubled life of Kipland 'Kip' Kinkel, a 15-year-old Oregon high school student who killed his parents and two schoolmates.
